New Beginnnings Twix came from a puppymill. He had all the problems of being unsocialized and extremely fearful associated with adult puppymill survivors. In addition Twix was blind and had epilepsy. However, Twix had such heart he quickly learned to trust people and blossomed into truly an exceptional and delightful dog. Everyone who met Twix fell in love with him and we were able to find him that very special home with enough love and committment to care for Twix and his special needs. What a blessing !! Gyspy now has a life she can depend on - Her new family loves her so much ! They say she is beautiful and just perfect for them . She loves following her new dad around the farm and enjoying all the special attention and care she gets. Cocoa wrote us an email and she says that she has her "own" couch now ! She loves being the only dog in a home with a mom and dad who think she is the most wonderful thing ! They LOVE her and she sure is ready to love them back !! Cleo has found her forever home ! She is loved and shortly after arriving her new owners decided that since they already had a cat named "Cleo" that she should now be called "Princess". They have told us that Princess is how they see her, their little Princess !! Lucy was so lucky to find her loving and forever home ! She is thriving and deeply loved now !! Dr. Pepper now has his placed in this world . He has a home of his own to grow up in and be forever loved !! Ally (the brown pup) is thrilled to be with her new mom and dad. She loves having Ralph her new brother canine to play with. Ralph is happy too !! *Louie, getting all the love and attention a great little dog like him deserves.* *Snickers, once lived in a dark crate at a puppy mill - now she is a real member of a family that loves her.* Cally was found starving, stray and pregnant. Lucky for Cally she was found by Paulette who took her in and cared lovingly for Cally until the kitties were born. Paulette decided to keep Cally. All SIx of her kittens were adopted to loving homes when they were old enough to leave mommy. *Toffee, a puppy mill survivor is learning confidence and trust in her new home - she is truly LOVED now.* Dunkin, (formerly - Andy) is happy to be a couch potatoe. His new family seem to believe that he is just the cutest thing on this earth!! *Toad is said to be nearly the "perfect" little dog and addition to his new families home. They are excited to have him !!* Pearl was a courtesy listing and we are thrilled to announce that she's been adopted and is now in a loving home. Way to go Pearl !!

	Banjo has been adopted into a wonderful loving home! Her new name is Sara. She lives with her mom and dad and a another kitty named Gracie. Her new mommy writes: 2/25/09 HI EVERYONE, I AM DOING GREAT AT MY NEW HOME, IT IS A LARGE 2 STORY WITH LOTS OF ROOM FOR RUNNING AND JUMPING AROUND. I AM STILL GETTING USED TO HARDWOOD FLOORS AND STAIRS AND HAVE SLID DOWN A FEW TIMES! I AM NOW FRIENDS WITH MY ROOM MATE, GRACIE AND WE SPEND HALF OUR DAYS RUNNING AROUND PLAYING TAG, WHAT FUN! I HAVE ALSO FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE CAT DOOR SO I CAN SUN MYSELF ON THE BACK PORCH. I AM STILL EXPLORING AND WILL UPDATE YOU ALL WHEN I GET A MOMENT. LOVE, SARA Banjo is a loving kitten. She's been in the rescue since she was orphaned at about 4 weeks old. She is now 7 months old. Banjo lives in a loving foster home and gets along great with other rescue kitties, the families 2 adult cats, and a very nice dog. She is up to date on shots, wormed, litter box trained, and spayed . Banjo is turning into a huge cuddler and purrs loudly whenever she is handled. She likes to crawl up on our chest and nuzzle close under our necks. She will stay there forever, purring like a little machine. The only problem we have with Banjo is trying to get nice photos of her. She hates the flash and closes her beautiful eyes tightly whenever a camera is aimed her way, even when there is not flash now. So she is also smart. She is really a wonderful kitty and we do not understand why she has been in rescue for so long. She really needs to go into a loving home of her own. Willie is a longhaired, neutered male. Alexion is a shorthaired, spayed female. Both are approximately 3 years old, declawed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. In addition, both have been kept on monthly flea and tick prevention. Alexion is very playful, while Willie is more laid back. Mimi HAS FOUND HER FOREVER HOME! Mimi Mimi is a fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4-5 month old kitten. She has already been spayed and declawed as well. Mimi has been kept on monthly flea and tick preventitive as well. Mimi needs a home that will appreciate her playful, curious nature. She enjoys interaction with people. Mimi doesn't just like people, she loves to play with the other cats and dogs in her foster home. Any cat toy will do for Mimi, she thinks just about everything is a blast!
